Well I've finished my sections of the animation that I've been doing for personal project but annoyingly I don't think I can post them up here because of copyright issues.
I'm going to e-mail Red kite this week and find out if I can post them up (hopefully slapping a large "copyright of Red kite Animations" at the start and end will convince them ) so maybe by the end of the week I'll have them up on the blog.
Advanced animation is going OK... just. I attempted this morning to fine tune my rig but I've decided that because the animation has to be submitted in a couple of weeks I really don't have time. I've elected instead to use a free
pre-built rig that is far better than what I can do myself. I'm pretty sure that this will be fine for the coursework submission seeing as the module is about animation skills, not rigging, skinning or modelling.
I've finally managed to get the interviews with the
Graffitti artist's that I've been in contact with about making my documentary for
persuasive narrative. This is quite a big step forward and today i picked up a camera so that i can start shooting some footage too. I don't quite know when
I'm going to get the time to go out and get some photographs of
graffitti but I think
I'll just have to bite the bullet and take a day off from other uni work and wander around
Dundee looking for good
piece's to use in the doc.
This is not really the best way to showcase my work (given that all of it's visual and
I've got no pictures or videos in this post) but hopefully in the next few days I can get a few things uploaded.
cheers for reading, and as I said more interesting posts will follow :)
